i write .... poetry?

whatsup my savages!?

i know i've been MIA lately. i took a week off of social media to try and clear my head.. honestly i don't know if it helped, i missed everyone and i didn't feel like anything changed. to me there wasn't much of a benefit of it - maybe if i had family and friends that were closer it would have changed /or i could have spent more time with them, but anyway. i'm back online and posting as obnoxiously as ever 😉i just got back from Denver and then i lost my phone in the airport, i got some unreal karma and i just got my phone back yesterday, so that was a lot to deal with.

BUT IM FINALLY HOME. AND IM BACK INTO THE GROOVE (... i think, we'll see)

not only have i had that going on, but i haven't posted in awhile because i've been trying to build up the courage to post some of my poetry. .. now.. i've always wrote, i just never shared with anyone.. ever. until a few months ago i wrote something while laying in bed and i shared it with my girlfriend, but again, that was the first person ever.. i've been writing them since probably middle school? that's a good 10 years.. and i THINK i am finally ready to share with you all, some of my stuff. ..

the first one i titled "distantly close", "the darkness never left", and the third one i'm going to share with you all is "i was wrong".

i'm still nervous to post this along with my poetry, as i'm writing it. but i feel like some people may be able to relate to some of these, or at least parts of them. poetry always comforts me, just like sad music does.. so maybe it's the same for some of you?

those poems are linked. and here's the link to my who poetry page. yes, i have a whole page of poetry, but some of them are locked. only those three in the paragraph above work on my site currently. i just wanted to share a few..

so, let me know what you think?? .. i'll have better content now that i'm home and back into my routine!
