whatsup savages?

insane to think that it's been a year since i actually started doing one of the things i love. i've wanted to write and blog for the longest time, but not until about a year ago did i have the confidence to do it. ~ just want to give a special thanks to the people who do follow and respond and talk to me about the things i post and say. and to the people who reach out to me just to say hi or good morning.

i haven't been blogging a lot, because i've been putting more focus on my book that i'm writing. but i'm going to be back on here more. i took a step back for a little and finally think i have come to terms with a lot so i'm excited to share these things with you all. and finally have this blog be what i want i to be about. life.

the struggles, the accomplishments, and just the real of the life.

everything i post might seem all over the place, but lets face it, that's just how i am; all over the place. i'm really excited for this new year and what it has to offer. i have a LOT of aspirations for myself and a drive that i feel like i haven't had in a long time. sometimes things just, click. ya know? and i hope for you, that is also the case. that things just "clicked" and you feel a sort of power or control over yourself again.

i have always been a pretty forward person. putting up with people's shit isn't really my thing. and when i started this blog, that's really what i wanted. for you to also know, that you don't have to put up with someone's shit if it's destroying you. you don't have to sit through a job you hate that makes you unhappy. you don't have to continue to do mundane bullshit.

but lets take a step back for a second. me saying that you don't have to put up with things, doesn't mean the world revolves around you, it doesn't mean you can act like an entitled asshole. (i mean, i can't really tell you what you can and can't do, but do you really wanna be that guy? probably not.)

i have been told i have a very strong voice (and i'm not talking about yelling, but .. that voice is also pretty terrifying.) which in a way was more motivating? so, finally figured out, after countless people asking "what do you really want to do?" well, i want to do a lot of things. so i'll slowly check off the list as the years go on. i want to just speak, really. i want to change things, what exactly do i want to change? how people communicate - in literally all aspects; relationships, working environments, and just every day conversation, really. communication is really how everything runs, if you look at it. how can you fly anywhere if you dont communicate with the airlines? how can your s/o know your favorite places if you don't tell them? the answer, they simply can't. i don't care if you're a human or robot - you still need communication to function. so we should all (me included) work on how we do this.

so i decided i wanted to start a little "mini series" on communication & common sense (while linking in the general idk.. MANNERS THAT NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE or just 'forgets', as well as just basic human decency that people seem to just ignore). and to start that off, i asked my following and facebook what things just piss you off in public that seem like people just ignore? or things that people do that are just huge pet-peeves to you. and whats funny, is that it wasn't an "aged" response, what i mean by that is that is the difference in generations or even 6 year difference in age, all came out the same. it seems like it was mainly just manners - or the lack there of.

so here's a lil vlog and rant to chat about it.

as always - let me know what you think, leave some comments about this or anything else 😜

as always, thanks for stopping by!

xx
